2nd Quarter To Remember

 

Before I end this quarter, I'd like to express my gratitude for surviving so many difficulties. ICT is one of the disciplines we study as part of the curriculum; we lack alternative forms of employment, but modern society thrives on technology. This quarter, I mostly learnt about basic HTML tags and hyperlinkand their uses for people. I also discovered how creativity can be expressed through words, imagination, opinions, and many other mediums. I also learned about the writing, performing, and being calm processes.

Most students struggle greatly during the epidemic, and I personally had a period in my life where I experienced distractions, a loss of hope, discrimination, and mental and physical health issues. I go through all of this, therefore I'm grateful that someone can assist me.

 Moving on, I will surely do better for the next quarters. This is for me to take a path and to choose the right for my future, I know that I am their hope so I can’t let my family down. I will strive for the best and to not forget about myself, to interact more and to be more confident, I will slowly adjust to feel comfortably during this pandemic and to develop my skills better than before

. Now, that the first quarter is over I would like to thank to all the people who help me survive, I will not forget your kindness and to myself thank you for staying. Good luck my dear batch mates, let’s survive these upcoming quarters.

New Year New Me

Making a New Year's resolution is difficult for me because I've always been a huge dreamer. I know it's best to set SMART goals (specific, measurable, attainable, reachable, and timely), but finding a realistic goal to follow in a year is difficult for me. 

My family is what inspires me to keep moving forward in life; they are all my strengths and have provided me with both material and emotional support. I know this year will be good for me in particular.

 I believe I need to do a lot better at saying "No" to people. I'm a people-pleaser by nature, so I often unconsciously try to improve people's moods. My standard response to requests for assistance is, "Sure, what can I do? I often take on more than I can handle, so I." I need to improve my performance if I want to become a better version of myself.

Christmas Celebration During The New Normal

 

I recently had the opportunity to celebrate Christmas normally following the COVID-19 pandemic. It was an unforgettable experience that I will never forget.

The first thing that struck me was the strong sense of community that seemed to exist. Many people had been isolated and separated from their loved ones for much of the year due to COVID-19. As a result, there was a strong desire to gather with friends and family to celebrate. This was evident in how people decorated their homes, participated in holiday activities, and expressed gratitude to one another. One of the highlights of the holiday season for me was spending time with my loved ones. It had been difficult to see some of my family and close friends in person due to the pandemic. Being able to hug and laugh with them was a memorable experience for me.

We had so much fun playing nintento switch with my cousins from Australia and America during Christmas, and we also have parlor games and tons of prices. The Alegre Clan organizes a large gathering to reconnect branches of our family to their origins. We had a good night together and talked about our future careers, as well as the culture and heritage that my cousins introduced us to when they visited the Philippines.
