The last quarter of a wrestle.

The last quarter of a wrestle. This page of my life is truly a challenge because to be able to achieve where I am now, I have to struggle so much, not just in academics but also with family problems. But I conquer these obstacles of my journey thanks to the support and guidance from my family, and of course, our very understanding teacher, especially Ma'am Vera Cruz, because she is very considerate to us. Without her, maybe this page of my life would be a grapple.

Although my future may seem overwhelming, I take comfort in the knowledge that during junior high school, I gained experience that I could utilize in the future. The relationships I create in this phase of my life, the knowledge I gain, and the fortitude I develop will serve as my pillars of strength in the future.

I am thankful for the memories I've made and the person I've become as I stand on the verge of this transformation. While I am filled with mixed feelings as I start this final year of junior high school, I am ready to face the challenges that lie ahead. Even though the future is unpredictable, I am convinced that with my resilience, perseverance, and positive outlook, I will not only survive but also thrive in whatever fate has in store for me.

Who am I in the future?

Everyone can be successful in life, but it requires some responsibilities. Success doesn’t happen right away, so it takes time and patience’s for things to fall into place. To have a successful life you must work hard to get where you want to be, it can’t just be handed to you for free. One thing is to never give up on your goals or dreams you want to achieve. When you accomplish great things in life it feels great. A successful student needs to use self-discipline and making wise decisions.

For me, being successful in the future is what I want to achieve, not because I am materialistic, but because I want to be able to be an independent person and financially free. That's what success means to me, and I want to be able to help other people achieve and strive for their goals in life. Being a "successful man" in life means you have the power to help others, and that's what I want to be in the future.

Success is much more than riches, power, or fame. Success is simply the feeling of satisfaction and happiness one gets from leading a particular way of life or carrying out a particular activity. Success in any field is for me, but my dream job is being a marine engineer because, ever since I was young, I have liked to dedicate myself to ships. But for me to be able to achieve or strive for that dream, it requires very much hard work and a little bit of opportunity. One of the most important ingredients of success is determination, and it might as well be the most important secret of success. To become successful, it is necessary to never give up until the aim of happiness and satisfaction in life is fully met. Happiness and satisfaction can be found in very different things for different people.

Choice, Chance, Change

In my life, I have been exposed to a challenge called change. Change can occur in many different ways and is dealt with in many different ways. I have come to the awareness that change can be the deepest of all things. I always thought that change occurred when you moved to a state or when you lost someone real close to you. Those are a challenge to change, yes, but change doesn’t have to occur over a climactic incident. It can just appear overnight when your brain winds up when it’s time to do something different. Even with friends that you used to have and know that move on. For example, most of my friends from elementary school, I don’t even talk to them anymore. For obvious reasons, people will turn down the changes in life.

It’s depressing how this works, but it’s probably the most reason why people change. It’s much like peer pressure which usually ends up in the wrong direction. For example, I was almost peer pressured to consume alcohol and to do smoking. Fortunately, for me, I escaped that change and didn’t experience it. The people we adore love us so much that they want us to remain the way we are forever. Like how my mother always wanted me to stay the same little child, but I grew up.Not all people can stay the same for a long time. If the people we love and adore would just accept the change and go with it, they would understand where the change was coming from.

It can be shaky to try to stop change and fight against it, especially if the person wants to change a lot. When I was ready for high school, I was expected to change almost everything in my life. The reason that somebody wants to change is usually not their choice, but a feeling that the person feels inside their head. Maybe the change isn’t the best change, but if you dig deeper, the person that you adore isn’t really changing. They are just trying to find themselves and the one thing they need the most is the support of the people who they care about the most. When I was attending college, I was expecting a lot of changing to take place. With the support of my family and friends, it was no big deal for me.

Especially For You, Mom

Why would we celebrate Mother's Day? Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. This day is dedicated not just to those who are biological mothers but also to those who are the guardians and protectors of their loved ones. And as a son, I'm very close to my mom and my lola because they show me unconditional love. If I have problems, they're always by my side, telling me not to give up and always motivating me to strive for my best in all aspects.

Whether you have a fun, wacky mom; a take-charge mom who runs the house like a tight ship; a snuggly mom who loves to give hugs; a cool mom up on all the latest trends or some other type of matriarch, it can be hard to put exactly what you love about her into words. So me and my sister decided to give my mom a bouquet of crochet flowers to show how thankful we we're to her, even if sometimes she likes to marites a lot lol.

So thank you for being the best mom in the world. Your love, guidance, and support have made all the difference in our life, and I am so grateful for everything you do. I love you more than words can express, and I hope i will be successful one day so that i can repay you for all you sacrifices for us.

Labor's Day Celebration

Philippines Labor Day is celebrated annually on May 1 to celebrate hardworking Filipinos across the country. In Filipino, it is known as ‘Araw ng mga Manggagawa’. People in the Philippines relax and spend the day with their family and friends. At Malacanang (the previous American Governor’s residence, now Presidential palace) and in major cities like Manila, labor movements and parades are a part of the celebrations. These activities draw attention to their complaints, which include the minimum wage, inhumane working conditions, and other issues that undermine the rights of employees. Every hardworking Filipino is celebrated on this day, no matter their job.

Today, Labor Day is a time for Filipinos to celebrate the achievements of workers and to reflect on the challenges that still lie ahead. The day is marked by parades, rallies, and other events organized by labor unions, workers' organizations, and civil society groups.

One of the highlights of Labor Day in the Philippines is the annual Labor Day Job Fair, which provides an opportunity for job seekers to connect with potential employers. The job fair is usually organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and includes job openings from various industries and sectors.

Third Quarter

So, where do I begin? Another quarter has passed, and I'm back to write this. I'm at a loss for words on what to share with you this time again. Also, this quarter has been a pain in the neck, literally. However, I can say that this quarter wasn't wholly horrible; it was exhausting but not unbearable.

There are times when I am full of resolve to finish my schoolwork and get things done immediately, when I'm full of excitement and ideas and get my write-ups accomplished, or when I enjoy answering questions about our mathematics subject. Unfortunately, this is an uncommon occurrence; when there are good days, there are also bad days, and vice-versa. I still get visits from my old friend, procrastination, and get unmotivated to complete my activities. And to top it all off, there are days when my brain refuses to process and think, and my school works becomes nothing more than a jumble of words clumped together in the most irksome way I've ever seen. When this happens, I take a step back and take a breather, do something else in the meantime till I muster the strength to face my tasks again. And I think that is what most of us forget to do and consider that taking a break is an option-- we succumb to exasperating pressure and get burned out physically and mentally, sometimes emotionally even. A lecture I got from my father that stuck with me is a piece of advice I want to share with all of you: the time and effort we put into our education, as well as the numerous sacrifices we have made, will be for naught if we do not take care of ourselves now, since it will affect us in the long run, this is something I seek to remember and use every day, I hope that you do too.

This quarter, I strived to fulfill a promise I made to myself the last time I wrote a quarter-end reflection. I'm delighted to share with you all that I have been fairing much better this time around in comparison to the prior quarter. This quarter's topic in our ICT course, Community-Based Research, presented a challenge to me. It was much tougher to do parallel to last quarter's course on HTML, despite having a subject in Research II. I still learned a lot tho. And I nonetheless have a lot of work to do before the end of the week, deadlines to catch, and other things that need my undivided attention at home. My life has recently resembled a circus, which has been hectic yet entertaining.

Every year ISNHS observes high school day to remember the day the school was founded or opened. In addition to how long it has been a part of the community a school is a part of, that makes it notable. All of the things that had been planned and prepared had to be put on hold, though, when the epidemic struck. The 118th high school day celebration was cancelled as a result of the pandemic. On high school day in 2020, the Covid-19 epidemic was a worry. How long the pandemic will persist is a concern for many people

Everyone, especially us students, have a memorable experience for the duration of the celebration. The school invited a previous distinguished alumnus, notably one from the class of 2010, Atty. To some of the audience, Lovely Lazo will provide an inspirational message. Additionally, the school honored its exceptional retirees as well as its staff members and teachers. Then comes the Field Demo, which is billed as the festival's "highlight." At this event, schoolchildren could display their talents. The top 3 winners of the grade 10 class's "hip-hop dance craze" then took the stage after the Grade 9 students "Festival Dance" performance to showcase their talents.

I'd say that despite the fact that it had been a while since the last celebration, it definitely made a great comeback this year. Even if circumstances had changed, this event's overall significance would unquestionably remain. Knowing that this school was built more than a century ago is very astonishing. Knowing that we attend a facility that houses such a wealth of life and history fills us with such a sense of pride. Because it has been a pleasure for us to live in such a sunny environment with individuals from earlier generations, people who lived in earlier times. It's wonderful to have an occasion like this to remember what the school genuinely stands for because even if the times change, the memories will undoubtedly endure.
